I’m a WordPress web designer. I started using WordPress in 2006, when I set up my personal blog, which, thankfully, is no longer live.
A freelance print designer, after a few years I decided to transition to the web and began to study HTML and CSS.
I’ve always loved learning and in 2007 I started posting on Twitter. In those early days I met great people, most of whom I’m still friends with today.
In 2010, I founded the Memphis, Tennessee WordPress user group, and led it for eight years. I’ve also been an active volunteer with GiveCamp Memphis since its inception in 2008.
In 2019 my husband, Jim, and I moved back to our hometown of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The image above is Jonesboro’s newly-revived downtown.
When I’m not working on your website, I can often be found doing The New York Times crossword puzzles, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, hanging with extended family, or enjoying a glass of chardonnay on our deck.
I live in Jonesboro with Jim, to whom I’ve been married for 34 years, and our dear 14-year-old rescue, Charlie. We have two grown daughters.
