About the Project

This nonprofit website was an exciting project as, although I’m not an equestrian, I’ve been familiar with The Germantown Charity Horse Show for the nearly 40 years I lived in the Memphis area.

The Charity Horse Show is an all-volunteer project and each year they organize and host a nationally-known event.

The site is large, with around 80 pages total. The first consideration was the Show’s multiple audiences: sponsors, competitors, and spectators.

In consultation with Horse Show volunteers, I built a site that works equally as well on mobile devices as it does on a full-size computer screen and has necessary information and forms for competitors, and gives potential sponsors and spectators a reason to visit.
