Elizabeth & I overslept a bit; we meant to get here at 4:00 or so; but didn’t wake up until 5:15 & got here at 6:00 a.m. So it will be a 12-hour day.

A couple of the news stations have been here; one in particular tried to get us to do an on-camera interview, which we politely declined; it was 6:30 a.m. No way. The guy was pretty persistent and we actually had to hide behind one of the brick posts here at Saddle Creek. Unfortunately, I peeked out from behind the post only to find a camera staring me in the face. Now I know how the movies stars feel.

There are only about 9 people in line, but lots have been driving by to check out the line. It’s going to be a long, hot day.
