The year 2010 has been a year of life changes in my family: high school and college graduations and the coming empty nest.
In 57 days, my husband, Jim, and I will leave Sara Ann at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. It’s a time I’ve been preparing for over the past few years as I’ve explored my gifts, talents and passions to prepare myself for the time my child-rearing years come to a close.
In two days, I begin a new part-time position with Executive Speakers Bureau, a full-service speakers bureau that represents hundreds of nationally-known speakers. It’s a perfect fit as I’ll be doing social media, e-newsletters and blogging — basically all of the things I most enjoy doing. I’m excited about the opportunity and the people I’ll be working with.
I will have the flexibility to continue to work on other freelance projects, so I’ll still be geeking it up with WordPress, keeping this site updated regularly and other new shiny things that come along.
Follow Executive Speakers Bureau on Facebook and Twitter.
