I found this photo on Snopes, the urban legends site, which I just browse for fun from time to time. I didn’t take the photo, it was shot in Western Australia. The snake is an olive python, one of Australia’s largest snakes. The unfortunate prey is a wallaby.
The photographer reports that sadly, the snake was not able to lift the wallaby — so much for the feast.
(Yeah, I know it’s weird but I have always been fascinated by snakes.)
