Sometimes older is better, sometimes newer is better. I loved the old Apple logo with all the colors, but I have to admit I like the clean simplicity of the new one too. I had a 1999 emerald green Suburban and I put my last of the old stickers on the back window. When the engine died, I had to get a new Suburban and the car wasn’t worth much at all without an engine. I tried to persuade the salesman that the sticker was worth another $1000 on trade-in — let’s just say that the salesman didn’t quite understand the value.

What do you think? Older is better? Newer is better?

Ha! You’re right about the car windows. And I am certainly grateful for technology.
But … I still have to go wtih Simon & Garfunkel together — but I don’t think I could live without my iPod!
So my opinion, I think newer is better. Yes, the older is great to look back on but think about it. With all this technology advancing we can do so much more for the medical field, teachers, researchers, etc. And just think. If we didn’t advance any we’d have to manually roll our car windows down anytime we needed to get our fast food!
I’m rolling with it.
