It’s October — breast cancer awareness month. Ten years ago this January, I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. Thankfully, my tumor was very small, about 1 cm, and it had not spread to the lymph nodes, so my treatment — six weeks of radiation and five years of Tamoxifen — was simple compared to what many women must endure.

I’m sure I will write more about that soon …
