My iPhone finally activated! It took about 24 hours. We had to make some changes to our AT&T account and it took a while for them to go through. Elizabeth’s took about 5 minutes to activate and I was glad she was getting to use hers. It was worth the wait. So far it is every bit as incredible as I thought it would be when I got in line at 6:00 Friday morning. I’m getting used to the keyboard — and trying to get it all synced up with my contacts and everything else.
The Internet is smooth and just as fast as I had hoped — email works well. I still need practice typing — as proficient as I was with two thumbs, this is much different.
We had so much fun running from the television news crews and just hanging out with each other and the other cool people in line. We are thinking we might line up for the October release of Leopard, which is the next amazing thing coming from Apple.
